Our 12×16 tiny house is a small but mighty space that serves as a perfect retreat while we work on building our main house, which is set to begin in the spring. Although it doesn’t have a bathroom, this tiny house is an essential part of our journey and will provide a comfortable place for us to hang out and escape the elements as we prepare for the bigger project ahead.
The tiny house is designed with simplicity in mind. It’s a place where we can relax, enjoy each other’s company, and store our tools and materials in between building tasks. The compact space makes it easy to maintain, and it’s fully functional for what we need right now. We’ve made sure it’s well-insulated, so it stays warm during colder weather, and we’ve added large windows to bring in natural light and provide beautiful views of our surroundings.
While it lacks a bathroom, we’ve made the most of the limited space, with comfortable seating areas and simple storage solutions to keep everything organized. It’s a cozy spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or unwind after a long day of work. We’re also using the tiny house as a space to brainstorm ideas for our future home, planning out what we want in the new space while reflecting on what makes this tiny home so functional.
