Deep in the heart of the jungle, where parrots gossip louder than the wind and squirrels act like they own the trees, there lives a very unusual character named Monkey Kaka. Known for his dramatic personality and unstoppable curiosity, Monkey Kaka is always searching for his next big adventure. But nothing—absolutely nothing—prepared the jungle for the day he decided to become… a chicken.
It all started when Monkey Kaka wandered near Farmer Babu’s small countryside farm at the edge of the forest. He had been watching the hens for days. They sat so seriously on their nests, barely moving, as if guarding the world’s greatest treasure. “How hard could that be?” he wondered. “Just sit and relax? I was born for this job!”
So, one sunny afternoon, when the farmer stepped away, Monkey Kaka tiptoed into the henhouse. He gently rolled a few eggs into a neat pile and carefully sat on them. Or at least, he tried to. Unlike the round and fluffy hens, Monkey Kaka had a long tail that kept knocking the eggs out of place. Every few seconds he had to twist, adjust, and reshuffle the eggs, muttering to himself, “Serious chickens make serious sacrifices.”
The real comedy began when he tried to cluck. Instead of a soft “cluck-cluck,” what came out sounded like a broken flute mixed with a hiccup. The hens stared at him in disbelief. One brave hen even tilted her head as if asking, “Sir, are you feeling alright?”
Determined to stay in character, Monkey Kaka puffed out his cheeks and flapped his arms wildly whenever someone approached. Unfortunately, his dramatic flapping created a tiny egg avalanche. Eggs rolled in every direction, and he scrambled after them, slipping and sliding in straw.
By the time Farmer Babu returned, he found a chaotic scene: feathers floating, eggs scattered, hens squawking, and right in the middle of it all sat Monkey Kaka—sweaty, exhausted, and still pretending to cluck.

The jungle laughed about it for weeks. And although Monkey Kaka never successfully hatched a single egg, he did hatch something else: the funniest story the farm had ever known.
